Audi Snook Futuristic Car Concept

Just for your information before you say “No” to this new Audi Snook concept, Audi Snook has won the Michelin Challenge Design Award 2008 at the Detroit Autoshow 2008. Designed by Tilmann Schlootz, German designer, this Snook concept is original and agile personal mobility vehicle that rides on a sphere.

Take a look at the multi-directional engine which consists of a sphere-wheel and enables the driver to navigate and steer the auto-stabilized cain in every direction. You’ll feel new driving experience, Audi Snook offers new maneuvers, fun driving, and satisfying the needs of future urban mobility.

Tilmann Schlootz describes his project: “The Magic Egg of Columbus, or better, two billard balls standing on each other: this icon is my origin on the way of reducing the hardware demands of physical mobility to the minimum.

One point touching the ground, the inverse pendulum in motion. Agility through instability, controlled by artificial intelligence - that is my formal issue.”

The concept model and designer Tilmann Schlootz will be present at the “Hannover Fair” (21-25 April 2008).

Mazda Nagare Concept

The one that I like the most about the future is car, it’s amazing how people design a very futuristic design and not so little can make it happen, some even already have the prototype. Now let’s see about Mazda Nagare concept from Mazda, the word itself pronounced as “na-ga-reh”, this cool car was first shown at the Greater Los Angeles Internation Auto Show, and also as the first series of design concepts that Mazda will show in this global auto show season.Laurens Van Den Acker as Mazda’s new global design director, the team was challenged to invent a means of registering motion in vehicles, and Nagare was born, the meaning of its name is flowing (in Japanese), this design achieves the goal also signaling a fresh design of future Mazda vehicles.

This mazda is planned to be designed in 2020 said Franz von Holzhausen, Mazda North American Operations? (MNAO) Director of Design, and they need redefined basic proportions and the idea of driving spirit will enhanced by Nagare. Very cool car in the future, isnt’ it ?

Mazda is going to show off its latest concept car called Mazda Taiki at 2008 Beijing International Motor Show. If you are looking at the curvaceous shape of Mazda Taiki, then you should understand the statement of “inspired by the shape and flow of the wind”. The challenge of this concept car is to design a car that visually expresses the flow of the air and atmosphere (called Taiki in Japanese). Now you know where “Taiki” name came from.

Pinifarina Sintesi Concept is Revealed

Webasto LigHT Concept Car : The Roof of The Future

This convertible car designed by Italian IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) and inspired by the Fiat 124 Sport Spider from the 1970s. Webasto LigHT concept features lightweight soft top concept which made from new material mix and weight of just 13 kg.
